Challenge Cyclista Mallorca is a race over 5 days, divided into 5 individual 1.1 races. There is no general classification. This unusual format allows sport directors to use their riders individually and to test teambuilding.

There are several World Tour teams, as well as a lot of Spanish riders at the start.
